The speed limit on the information superhighway has been greatly increased at West Virginia State Univeristy with the establishment of STINGER, the high performance computer system. Located in the Drain Jordan Library on campus, STINGER is enhancing the University's capabilities to conduct cutting-edge research at a faster pace than ever before. With the power of 120 desktop computers in one, STINGER equals speed.

Join us at WVSU as we celebrate this advanced computing power with a special Cyberinfrastructure Day program. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

For more information on this event please contact Dr. Sonya Armstrong, Department Chair of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, (304)766-3267 or armstrso@wvstateu.edu.

We hope you can join us for this event and learn more about the exciting activities taking place at WVSU.
