CI-TRAIN Announcements

As CI-TRAIN is now into the final year of the program, a few announcements are in order:

  • The educational program for this year will utilize the XSEDE online resources. This was agreed upon at the 1st business meeting of the year on Wednesday the 11th. These resources come in 2 flavors. Online tutorials that can be viewed at any time, and live webinars (recorded for later viewing as well...) with seasoned XSEDE staff leading the lecture.
  • The final project meeting will be held on August 12-14 in Fayetteville to coincide with a request from ASTA to host the Track 1 meeting in conjunction with our Track 2 meeting. Specific details are still being ironed out, but this also was discussed and agreed upon at the CI-TRAIN business call on Wednesday the 11th.
