UAPB Receives funding for HPC Cluster

We are happy to announce that the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will be a recipient of a Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP) grant award for 2012. This highly competitive award from the Army Research Office (ARO) will enable the purchase of a high-performance / visualization cluster for the campus to support research activities.

The project also, includes funding for the construction of a visualization wall for 3D rendering. Only two universities within the state of Arkansas received funding under this program in 2012.
