The project brings together a broad range of resources, including high performance computing clusters, an array of geospatial data-capture equipment, optical and national networks, and information.

 

Computing Resources

Star of Arkansas Computing equipment in the form of high-performance clusters are currently located at Marshall University, the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the University of Central Arkansas, and West Virginia University. Visualization and Data Capture Resources

Visualization and digital data capture devices are managed through the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies. Equipment is available for checkout to CI-TRAIN project participants by contacting Dr. Jackson Cothren. Visit the visualization page for details.

On January 31, the San Diego Supercomputer Center offers a no-fee introductory training workshop on Hadoop and its use in scientific and data intensive computing.

XSEDE Allocation Submissions Open
XSEDE is accepting Research Allocation Requests for the allocation period, April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014. The submission period ends January 15, 2013.
