Cyberinfrastructure Days
At Cyberinfrastructure Days faculty and students will have the opportunity to understand the benefits that cyberinfrastructure can provide to their scholarly pursuits, to see what faculty and students are doing with cyberinfrastructure on their respective campuses, and to learn what national resources are available and how to access them.
CI-TRAIN Lecture Series
The lecture series brings together IT professionals, faculty, staff, and students for the purpose of training and perfecting leadership skills that lead to sustained cyberinfrastructure. Topics range from basic Linux use and administration to strategies for integrating multiple data streams into visualization. Individual lectures occur one to two times a month.
EVO, the World Wide Collaboration Network
For the Lecture Series, CI-TRAIN broadcasts these sessions through EVO, created and maintained by Caltech.
CI Training Day in Oak Ridge
The CI-TRAIN project partneredwith the National Institute for Computational Sciences and Oak Ridge National Laboratory for training and outreach to student, faculty, and researchers in the use of advanced cyberinfrastructure to enable research and teaching.
